VALORANT team
Sentinels: VALORANT's first superteam, twice
Sentinels won the first international VALORANT event in Reykjavík in 2021 without losing a map, and the roster that did it became the game's first household names. Then they missed a season entirely, rebuilt twice, and won again in Madrid in 2024.
Only one player appears on both: TenZ.

The 2021 roster
TenZ arrived on loan from Cloud9 mid-season and the team immediately went undefeated internationally. ShahZaM called, dapr and zombs played the anchor roles, and SicK provided the flexibility. It is the most recognisable line-up in the game and it never reached that level again — by the end of 2022 all four of TenZ's teammates had left.
The rebuild
The 2024 title came from an unusual combination: TenZ plus zekken and johnqt from the North American scene, and Sacy and pANcada, the two Brazilians who had won Champions with LOUD in 2022. That mix is the reason Madrid is a good hard-tier line-up round — the names belong to two different famous teams.
